These works employ hybrid technologies that are brought together within the print matrix. They also integrate, hand painted atmospheric environments, antique mapping tropes with images found using scanning electron microscopes and deep space telescopes. Both familiar and alien, these compositions are intended to be experiential, both beautiful and uncanny or perhaps unnerving. A combination of mathematical symmetry in the microscopic forms found in radiolarian, diatomic structures is set in natural sedimentary geographies that sometimes include references to the myths that informed the evolving understanding of life's existence.
These works reference an interest in physical principles like string theory or the theory of everything.
